Applying for a UTC professional degree course

The sector to which these degrees would lead, professionally, is industrial maintenance.

Population concerned

Students, salaries persons and unemployed persons can request an application file.

In order to apply, you must be a holder of a Bac+2 in a technical field, such as:

  • BTS (brevet for qualified technicians) Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Control & Automation, Electro-engineering or other technology intensive sectors
  • DUT (University diploma in technology) Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electric Engineering and industrial computer science applications. Mechanical and Production Engineering sciences.
  • Licence 2 (second year of the French first degree) Science, Technology and Engineering Sciences.


A two-step recruitment protocol applies:

  • Deliver your duly competed registration file, addressed to (deadline for receipt- end June 2016)

If you are one of the following categories, training offered at UTC will depend on the Continuous Education programme

  • You interrupted your HE training for at least 2 years
  • You have held a professional salaried position, whatever its duration.
  • You are registered as an unemployed job-seeker (French Assedic regime or not, supported by the Picardie Region authorities' services for persons who reside is in this Region, with the provision that a decision in your favour is made by the relevant Regional Committee).
